CEMRIAC's first ever Virtual Festival
Club and Individual entries for the CEMRIAC spring festival.
Guest Speaker and Judge Paul Kittel (FACI) and
Simon Sumner pulled off a virtual festival with over seventy subscribers watching the video
programme (2pm - 6pm)
With but only one slight transmission blip, the festival was
managed smoothly through the use of Zoom and thanks to Simon hosting the films on a Google drive.
Paul offered meaningful critique and hints and tips for each of the film-makers and really helped keep up the energy of the event. Thanks to Paul for his time.
Paul awarded five prizes -
Best Sound - Paula Webster - The Rock
Best Editing - Larry Hall - And the Band Begins to Play
Best Film (3rd place) - Paul Fielding & Julian Austwick - The Studio: Episode 1 - The Rockumentary
Best Film (2nd Place) - Peter Durnall - Return of the Barn Owls
Best Film (1st Place) - Howard Smith - Good Girl
