Several excellent short videos on YouTube detail rules we really should follow when making our films. One in particular, entitled. “6 Rules of Video Composition, (and why NOT to break them)”, really is a must-watch video.
How 1917 was made ...
Many of us saw the 1914/18 war film entitled ‘1917’, remarking what an excellent film it was. On YouTube, is a short video entitled “How ‘1917’ was made to look like one long shot.” I think most of us will have to wait quite a long while before any of our films are viewed on YouTube as many times as this one...it’s had 13-million plus views!
Remarkably though, the official trailer for the film directed by Sam Mendes, has clocked up twice that amount!!
