On Sunday March 26th, CEMRIAC hosted a Zoom Competition, which had in fact been open to all IAC members.
Alan had entered the logging cart film, “Back To The Woods”. and also “Ripples and Reflections”, while Gerry entered “Bob’s Buses”.
Nineteen films had been entered, with the event starting at 7pm and not finishing till 10.40pm. Bristol Moviemakers Club members had pre-judged the films, with two spokesmen for them giving their opinions at the end of the evening.
“Back to the Woods” was placed third overall. A Howard Smith film, “Frankie” came second, while “Ruth’s Art”, by Jill Lampert, a documentary about a Jewish lady artist - who in fact lives in Nuneaton - taking first place.
