Down to Earth...

A few years ago, Geoff Payne wrote a story which was made into the film ‘Perpetuity’ by club members. A friend of Terry’s, Dawn O’Shea, played the main part, being ably assisted by Jim Huckfield. Filming took place at two locations - David and Denise Haffner’s lounge and and in Michael Ridgeway’s loft. The story revolved around a meteorite that had crashed through the roof of Dawn’s house. All of which brings us bang up to date when, as you will recall, a meteorite recently fell to earth in the Gloucestershire town of Winchcombe. By all accounts, the Winchcombe one was made up of rare carbonaceous chondrite elements from the early solar system. Ours was a chunk of granite from Judkins quarry, sprayed dark green, and sprinkled with some of Monica’s card-making silver glitter. Well...it looked authentic!

Can you tell which is which?
